The Make a Difference Award for Q2 of 2020 was presented to Account Executive, Jess Cummings. Originating from the agency’s brand statement, the Make a Difference Award is given to an employee who goes above and beyond making a difference for the agency, its clients and in the community.
Since joining R&J in 2017, Jess has continuously proven herself as an invaluable member of the agency’s account management team. She plays a critical role in the agency by implementing excellent client relations and communications strategies that build on the agency’s strong media relations practice. Her superior PR instincts make her an asset to every account she is on, making a difference not only for clients, but coworkers as well.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the agency and its clients. During this unprecedented time, Jess has stepped into a leadership role on many of her accounts, most notably CarePlus, a pioneer in integrated primary and behavioral health care whose services are crucial during this difficult time. Her resilience and hard work have resulted in a number of high-value local, regional and national media placements highlighting the organization’s vital services and the ways in which CarePlus is working to ensure that members of the community get the care they need during a time of unprecedented crisis.
