R&J is happy to announce the promotion of Evan Moore to Account Coordinator as part of our continuing growth. He will assume a supportive role in R&J’s account management team, contributing to strategic planning, program execution and media relations for many of R&J’s clients in the Consumer Marketing divisions as well as R&J’s own public relations and promotional efforts. Evan began his career at R&J as an intern in September 2015.
“Evan has already proven to be a great asset to our team,” said John Lonsdorf, President of R&J. “During his internship, he has shown a great drive for success and has helped the agency by stepping into a variety of different roles. I have no doubt Evan’s work ethic and eagerness to take on new tasks will prove to be invaluable to both the agency and our clients.”
A resident of Whitehouse Station, N.J., Evan graduated cum laude from Rowan University in 2015 with a BA in Public Relations. He previously held an extended internship at Rowan’s Office of Media & Public Relations where he was responsible for promoting school events and student projects. He also assisted in coordinating and executing high-profile university events including commencement week ceremonies, one of the 2013 New Jersey senatorial debates, and the inauguration of Rowan President Ali Houshmand.
His work at the university helped earn him Rowan’s 2015 Litwin Family Medallion for Excellence in Strategic Public Relations Writing, an honor awarded to a graduating Rowan senior who demonstrates outstanding persuasive writing with research components.
Evan has also produced, directed, written and promoted a variety of independent film projects, including a 20-minute documentary titled “Change of Tides: The William Roberts Story,” which highlighted the life and service of a 90-year-old WWII veteran. The film was featured at the 2015 Cape May Film Festival as well as other public screenings. It can be viewed at www.changeoftidesfilm.com.
