R&J Strategic Communications, a full-service integrated marketing and public relations agency, is pleased to welcome interns Meghan Scheuing and Nicole Bachrach to the team. Scheuing and Bachrach will play key roles in assisting R&J team members with projects pertaining to their specific practice areas. As a PR intern, Scheuing is responsible for a multitude of tasks in support of the PR team, including writing and editing press material, pitching media, and researching media lists and reporting on media coverage. As a social media intern, Bachrach will be assisting the Digital and Creative teams in the creation and delivery of client messaging across digital platforms, monitoring social conversations and potential influencers related to client brands, and researching analytics and emerging trends in the field of digital marketing.
A resident of Matawan, NJ, Scheuing is a senior at Rutgers University currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a specialization in Strategic Public Communication + Relations and a double minor in Creative Writing and Digital Communication & Information Media Studies. With a strong passion for writing and the field of communications, Scheuing also serves as an ambassador for the New York Times and is excited to be completing her first internship here at R&J. She has interests in fields pertaining to both creative and professional writing, media, and the overall field of PR, and hopes to utilize these interests toward a potential career post-grad.
A resident of West Amwell, NJ, Bachrach graduated from The College of New Jersey in May of 2021 with a BA in Public/Mass Communications and a double minor in Marketing and Law, Politics, and Philosophy. Prior to R&J, she served as a Social Media Intern at Camden Schools Foundation and interned in the Outreach Department of Governor Phil Murphy’s Office. Nicole has career interests in social media managing, brand marketing, and merchandising and aspires to work in an agency one day.
