John is a recognized leader in the public relations and marketing communications fields. He founded R&J in 1986 and has led the firm through several strategic re-brandings while building the agency into one of the region’s leading strategic communications consultancies. John has authored numerous articles on brand building and the role of public relations and the importance of integrated marketing, and has been a speaker and presenter at national conferences and symposia, in addition to sitting on several industry and not-for-profit boards. John impacts each account at R&J through his laser focus on strategic direction and his drive to provide clients with the maximum returns on their marketing communications investment.

Scott is a principal of R&J Strategic Communications, and a 17-year veteran of the communications industry. He has engineered numerous successful campaigns and initiatives in practice areas including crisis management, corporate communications/reputation management, issues management and product publicity/media relations. Scott’s expertise ranges from top consumer companies to tightly focused advocacy campaigns. His deep knowledge of industry best practices affects all R&J clients through his pairing of the right campaigns to client needs.
Tiffany is responsible for leading and managing the agency’s account service teams, and assists in setting the agency’s strategic direction as a member of the Senior Management Committee. Her deep expertise with messaging and campaign execution guides R&J’s clients from planning through results measurement. Tiffany brings strong leadership to her accounts, anticipates client needs, builds positive relationships and generates positive results in all of her activities. She focuses on the bottom line for R&J’s clients utilizing her diverse experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, B2B, non-profits, and real estate to achieve results that move our clients’ products and services forward to increase their market position and brand awareness.
With over a decade of consumer electronics and technology experience under his belt, Kyle is no stranger to the industry. Having worked with brands such as Samsung, Casio, Nikon and Vimeo, he has perfected the art of media relations and has built and fostered meaningful relationships with key journalists, lifestyle editors and reviewers across the country. With a deep understanding and passion for new technologies, Kyle can absorb the most advanced product specifications and communicate the points-of-difference with the most tech savvy media or distill them in easy-to-understand benefits for any media outlet’s readers or audience. Kyle has also excelled with business-focused communications on behalf of his clients. Working alongside executives in the C-Suite, Kyle has coached CEOs on how to raise their visibility and amplify their messages, with his efforts leading to coverage with some of the most prominent business broadcast media in the US.
Tracey leads a number of the agency’s technology and consumer products accounts. In this critical role, she directs and manages her account team in developing strategic plans, formulating actionable strategies and shaping persuasive content creation that generates widespread, impactful media coverage in both traditional and social media channels, helping to engage with consumers while connecting the agency’s clients with their customers.
Director of Digital Services
Tim is responsible for Digital Services at the agency, and the task of integrating social marketing into our clients’ messaging strategies. He has worked in both traditional and new media agencies, and in a corporate setting, providing valuable insight to both facets of the agency/client relationship. With twenty years of digital marketing experience, and a passion for technology, Tim has a history of utilizing new tools and channels where they’re clearly aligned with client objectives.
VP, Creative and Digital Services
Steve recently joined R&J through the acquisition of his agency, Fifth Room Creative. The acquisition enabled R&J to offer a fully integrated suite of services to all of our clients. Steve leads the design and web development team and works closely with the account team to execute on the design portions of each clients’ strategic plan. With more than a decade of experience working with brands across multiple industries, Steve is able to help our clients extend their brand value through traditional and digital media with his team. Steve has worked with local, regional, and international organizations on branding and advertising campaigns.
Working closely with digital services, Erin assists with the integration and implementation of social media strategy for our wide range of clients at R&J. Her creativity and keen understanding of social media allows our clients to build brand awareness and reach their desired business goals through new digital resources. Erin also works within the traditional realm, establishing relationships with clients, communicating their goals, and providing day-to-day support to our account teams to meet our clients’ needs.
Playing a crucial supportive role in R&J’s account management team, Evan contributes to strategic planning, program development and execution, and media relations for many of R&J’s clients in the Consumer Marketing division. He also plays a significant role in R&J’s own public relations and promotional efforts as the agency continues to grow and expand its capabilities.
Jenn is an integral part of the new services offered at R&J Strategic Communications. She is the resident Graphic Designer and creates everything from infographics to corporate branding systems to annual reports and websites. Additionally, she is involved in social media campaigns, website facelifts, and various other digital media projects. She enjoys embracing challenges and finding innovative, unique, and creative solutions. Jenn is a self-proclaimed typography nerd and is very excited to be a part of the R&J Strategic Communications team.
Assistant Account Executive
Stephanie plays a critical role within the agency’s healthcare and consumer products specialty practice areas, generating media coverage in traditional and digital spaces and developing strategic communication materials which produce tangible results and help to build our clients’ brand positions. She is responsible for the integration and execution of public relations, media relations and social media campaign efforts, serving as the working force driving a variety of tactical actions for the agency’s diverse client base.
